It is true that we can not understand the truth of God's word apart from the Spirit of the Lord which will lead us into all truth. I do appreciate you taking the time to comment and in times past I would have picked up every book I could find to teach me the bible until I heard the Lord clearly say, Hey why not read my book. And since then I have read only the bible as a source book and allowed the Lord to teach me from His word what it is He wants me to learn and understand. There is still much to learn and I am sure this side of heaven I shall never fully understand it all but I strive daily to seek for more of Him and to learn from His Spirit what it is the Lord would have me know. One book that i highly recommend is Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus - I think you would enjoy it.
