The Heartfelt Christmas Tree

A tree with fibre optic lights
Image via Wikipedia

There is a special Christmas tree
That lives within the heart.
It isn’t pine, and can’t be bought
At any store or mart.

Each branch holds some fond memory
Of joyful
Christmas cheer,
Reminding us of those we love
And always will hold dear.

The gifts beneath this Christmas tree
Are stacked up very high
With kindly deeds of thoughtfulness
That one could never buy.

The Heartfelt Christmas tree expands
Through every passing year
With lovely gifts and blessings
Having come from far and near.

Atop this tree a star shines bright,
While angels sing God’s praise;
Rejoice! The Christ-child’s Love is shared,
And blesses ALL our days.

I truly wish we would spend more time spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and less time worrying about food offered to idols. I pray for pagans all the time. They worship a god that is not a god at all and for that they need our prayers and the message of salvation that comes from the true and living God.

I am not here to point fingers and fault find nor am I here to condemn anyone to hell or feel like they are not living up to God’s expectations. What I am here to do is to tell everyone about someone who can save everyone from all their sins! I am just a preacher of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I shall allow the Holy Spirit of God to point fingers and convict people of their sins.

I’m not ashamed of the Good News. It is God’s power to save everyone who believes, Jews first and Greeks (pagans) as well. Romans 1:16Open Link in New Window (GW)

EDITORS NOTE: Navigate to these sites at your own risk. I have not verified the veracity of the information presented on any of these sites. I do not endorse, nor do I ridicule anyone who believes that ejecting an evergreen tree inside their home is instituting pagan rituals and thusly worshiping the same pagan gods from which these customs evolved. I do not know what your traditions are nor am I really concerned for your soul if you erect an evergreen tree inside your home. They do smell good like one of these web sites states. There are many who feel that celebrating anything having to do with Christmas is paganism and thusly should be refrained from by any good Christian who values their walk with God. I personally do not erect evergreen trees in my home and I do not really like Christmas trees erected in a church sanctuary that being said, they surely do add life to a space and they do look lovely. I equate bringing living trees into the home much like bringing in potted plants and other growing things. After all God created everything for our enjoyment, I am not going to allow a few pagans to steal away everything that is good. Now then take a deep breath and inhale the fresh smell of pine needles as you head on over to these links. Just be forewarned as you travel along this cybertrail. :)

Please check these sites out…they are not Christian sites…but either secular or by pagans themselves…
